About Us
Betsy (Young) Snyder grew up in Russellville, Arkansas and received a bachelor of science at Arkansas Tech University. In 1994, Betsy moved to Little Rock to begin her animal care career at the Little Rock Zoo where she had the opportunity to work with a collection of amazing animals and experience things that not many people ever have the chance to experience.
Noel Snyder grew up in Angola, Indiana and attended Indiana-Purdue at Fort Wayne. Noel's animal care career began in 1990 at the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo and took him all around the country, working at accredited zoos. Noel moved to Little Rock in 2001 to work at the Little Rock Zoo.
Noel and Betsy were married in 2013 and decided that after 20 years in the zoo field, it was time for a move home to be closer to family, and a new adventure. After a lot of planning and hard work, Creature Comforts Pet Boarding and Daycare opened its doors in 2015. Between the two of them, Betsy and Noel bring 40 years of animal care experience and an obvious love for all animals to focus on taking care of your furred and feathered pets.
